Light curtains ensure correct objects picked | |

Landquart; The technical term “Poka Yoke” means the prevention of unintentional errors using technical equipment. So-called “Poka Yoke” systems on racks ensure that the correct object is picked and the wrong parts aren’t accidentally chosen. They assist the rack user in removing the right part from the right place. The main cause for incorrect deliveries and respectively wrong components being used is eliminated and thus potential consequential costs are kept to an absolute minimum.

Object100 supportWith the Object100 light curtain, picking systems can be quickly and simply converted to poka yoke capable systems. Due to the large operating range and the dense web of beams, larger areas can also be dependably monitored. The shorter reaction time of the light curtains ensures optimal efficiency during object picking. The extraction area can be flexibly configured through the equipment controller. Thanks to the very compact emitter and receiver light curtains, the Object100 can also be mounted without any problems into areas where space is very limited. The slender light curtains do not disrupt the function of the rack itself in any way. |
