Large range of operation
   
The safety light curtain systems Safe2+ / Safe4 from CEDES are tested and certified for a wide range of operation:
  • from 0 m to 18 m with a resolution of 30 mm and 
  • from 0 m to 9 m with a resolution of 14 mm 

For you as a user this means: it doesn't matter if in your application the distance between emitter and receiver is only 1 m or 7 m, you can always use the same kind of system.

Ordinary systems of other suppliers do not offer this possibility. At the transition from small to long distances these systems need a change in the profile dimensions or a change of the optics. This means you have to have different types of systems in stock. So you have to plan to use different types for one system. This leads to an enormous additional logistical and financial effort for you.
