Connectable protective fields
A big advantage of the safety light curtain systems Safe2+ and Safe 4 of CEDES is that is very easy to connect different protective fields.  You can easily combine different protective fields by means of flexible connecting cables. The cables have a standard length of 0.3 m, 1.0 m or 3.0. Of course we also deliver other lengths on request.  These plug in connections are often used to combine the vertical entry guarding with the horizontal hazardous zone safeguarding or to combine the guarding of the front and the back side of a machine.
On one hand, the combination of different protective fields reduces drastically the cost of a system. On the other hand, you need only one safety relay to integrate the system in your safety circle which will minimze your costs for purchase, mounting and wiring.
