Key switches are necessary if (to give an example) a safety light curtain is to be manually short circuited by authorised personnel for the purpose of service or set-up
operations.
Installation of the 22QR Key Switch is extremely simple. The actuating element is simply held in the installation aperture and then screwed tightly into position from behind with a threaded ring. The switching element is equipped with two make contacts with gold surfaces and achieves the protection degree IP65 during the entire course of its service life. It is secured against twisting with a twisting guard. The threaded ring can be fitted with grips if a twisting guard is not fitted. The sprayed bonding seal cannot be lost or twisted during installation.
