Safe200 light curtain is an Active Optoelectronic Protective Device
(AOPD). Installed rigidly in a machine, it will detect
interference or the entry of operating personnel and can in this
way safeguard dangerous areas before unauthorized interference or
entry can occur. One of the special characteristics of the system
is its extremely slender construction. Safe200 safety light curtains are among the smallest and most attractive of their kind available on the market, thanks to their narrow profile cross-section of only 15 x 20 mm. Safe200 was specially developed for compact machines (e.g. handling robots, presses or punching machines).

Another, is that the protection area of this light curtain can be
configured in combination with a CEDES SafeC 200 controller
unit, accordingly for the specific demand of an application.
