Safe400 light curtain is an Active Optoelectronic Protective Device
(AOPD). Installed rigidly in a machine, it will detect
interference or the entry of operating personnel and can in this
way safeguard dangerous areas before unauthorized interference or
entry can occur. One of the special characteristics of the system
is its extremely slender construction. Safe400 systems can even be installed under the most confined conditions. The protective field length for every application can be supplied up to a height of 1’200 mm to suit customer requirements, thanks to a module length of only 50 mm. Another, is that the protection area of this light curtain can be configured in combination with a CEDES SafeC 400 controller unit, accordingly for the specific demand of an application. |
