Micro D79 is a light curtain designed to prevent automatic doors closing on people or objects. The light curtain system is installed in addition to a normal door opening sensor and provides increased safety and comfort for the user. The system generates a dense web of 79 light beams to reliably detect people or objects in the danger zone between the closing doors.Micro D79 is very compact in its dimensions with a cross-section of just 12 x 16 mm. The protection height is 1’800 mm and the operating range goes up to 2.7 m. The extremely cost effective and robust Micro D79 offers a simple way to upgrade existing automatic doors. With the full-coverage light curtain, a significantly higher safety class is achieved.
