\n Airwave switches are actuated by pressure waves created by any kind of pressure source. A rubber tube inside the weather seal of the door is used to create a pressure wave. When the pneumatic edge hits an obstacle, a pressure wave is created inside of the tube and this wave is recognized by the switch.\n

\n The pre-traveling light barrier OPTOGUARD features two telescopic sledges, each of them carrying a pair of photocell-sensors. When touching the ground, the sledge is pushed\ninto the plastic housing tensioning a spring. The shape of the housing forces the sensor arms to perform a 60\u00b0 rotation when sliding in, eventually locating them in parallel alignment.\n
