Celebrating 25 years of CEDES Asia Pacific

CEDES Asia Pacific (CAP) was officially established on 4th November 2000, marking the beginning of our exciting journey in the region. What started with a small team of three dedicated people has grown into a dynamic organization of 18 employees with representative offices in Taiwan, proudly serving 12 countries across the region.

From a modest SGD 2 million in sales revenue, CAP has achieved remarkable growth, reaching SGD 7.4 million in 2024. A key driver of this success is their unique service business, which now contributes over 30% of total revenue and supports the Group’s business growth. This service offering is built on reliability and responsiveness: two skilled technicians are always ready to attend customer jobsites within 24 hours, including weekends and public holidays, to troubleshoot or replace light curtains in case of a lift shutdown. 

The CAP team played a crucial role in the early implementation of the CEDES Elevate solution, helping customers tackle critical challenges such as shortages of skilled labor, improving repair and service efficiency, and supporting their modernization business. Looking ahead, the predictive maintenance platform will continue to evolve with advanced features like object recognition and people counting, bringing even more business value to both existing and new customers, especially in the healthcare and public transportation sectors which CAP focuses on.
