HR Intern (60-100%)

fixed-term contract for 15 months

The HR & Finance department sees itself as a competent internal service provider. Our small HR team is responsible for all personnel-related tasks and concerns of our nearly 200 employees at our Landquart location. We offer a motivated individual the opportunity to start a career in Human Resources.

Your area of responsibility

  • HR administration throughout the entire employee lifecycle, from onboarding to offboarding
  • Preparation of HR-related payroll and benefit settlements (salary, accident insurance, sickness benefits, and loss-of-earnings compensation)
  • Coordination and reporting with social insurance providers, government offices, and authorities
  • Absence management, including monitoring working hours and vacation balances
  • Support in recruitment and vocational training activities
  • Participation in HR projects and the continuous improvement of processes
  • General administrative tasks within HR & Finance

Our requirements

  • Discretion and the confidential handling of sensitive data are essential prerequisites
  • Strong interest in HR topics and administrative processes
  • Excellent MS Office skills (especially Excel), as well as an interest in and ability to further develop and maximize the use of existing IT solutions
  • Highly independent, proactive, service-oriented, and analytical way of working
  • Team-oriented, empathetic, resilient personality with assertiveness and a healthy sense of humor
  • Excellent written and spoken German, as well as good English skills
