By choosing our light curtains to safeguard your door, you prevent it from bumping into the hood of your car or, in the worst case, into somebody’s head. The door stops automatically before any physical contact with a person or an object is made. 

This contactless solution ensures not only more safety, but also less damage to the door itself, thus reducing the cost of its maintenance.  GridScan/Pro  is built into the door guide rail and there are no dynamic cables hanging around the door. The new GridScan/Pro SI additionally allows for the implementation of a soft-stop functionality, further reducing mechanical wear, while the available standby mode means that you also save energy. 

Moreover, the newly integrated serial interface provides precise data allowing you to check the plausibility of the door position and make sure that the system hasn’t been manipulated or failed to function properly due to extreme weather conditions. This unique solution increases the general safety level of doors in a significant way.
