The robust new photocell ELS 500

With the launch of the new ELS 500, CEDES is expanding its portfolio for industrial doors. Thanks to its robust metal housing, the new photocell is ideal for use in the harshest environments. An adjustable range of up to 20 meters and the M12 threaded housing, the ELS 500 can be easily installed to any door profile.
In environments with a lot of water, high humidity or dust, the IP67 design means that the functionality is not affected. ELS 500 complies with all current industrial standards, so interference from electromagnetic fields does not cause any disturbance in operation. There are NPN and PNP output types in light-on or dark-on switching versions, meaning a suitable ELS 500 output version for every type of door controller.
