TOF 3D sensors
TOF/Start
The TOF/Start detects people or objects approaching escalators, revolving and swing doors, industrial doors and personnel sluices. Cross-traffic is ignored, ensuring energy-efficient usage.
The IMS 100 Pro provides a new level of safeguarding by monitoring the entrance area to elevators. This reduces overall door-opening times and improves elevator efficiency.
The 2019 North American Elevator Safety Code (ANSI A17.1-2019 / CSA B44-19) defines new and clarifies existing requirements for the means of detecting persons or objects between the doors (2D) or approaching the elevator (3D). CEDES CabSafe™ system, consisting of a Controller, a 2D light curtain and a 3D TOF sensor, can fulfill all these code requirements and more.
The APS is a contactless absolute positioning system for elevators. It supports speeds of up to 20 m/s and distances of up to 1,500 m. As SIL 3 rated, it can be used for safety-relevant functions.
The iDiscovery is a powerful SIL 3 and EN 81-20/50 compliant safety supervisor unit. In conjunction with CEDES’ APS (Absolute Positioning System), it takes over safety-relevant functions of the elevator, including enhanced inspection functions for elevators with reduced headroom or pit (EN 81-21). The system features a pure electronic overspeed governor
to trip an electrically activated safety gear.
The cegard/Mini-CC light curtain offers a major increase in the level of safeguarding of elevators doors thanks to its criss-cross beams, which remain active up to complete elevator door closure.
The latest version of the cegard/Mini-CC light curtain meets every requirement under EN 81-20. Its criss-cross beams, which remain active up to complete elevator door closure, offer a major increase in elevator door safeguarding.
The cegard/Mini-MOD’s relay-output and universal power supply allows it to be efficiently integrated into any existing elevator facility, with no need for additional components.
The Universal Power Supply (UPS) offers a 24 V power supply for sensors, e.g. cegard/Mini. Input voltages ranging from 20 to 265 VAC or 20 to 375 VDC can be converted. The sensor’s semiconductor output will also be converted to a potential-free relay contact.
The Universal Power Supply UPS Plus has two potential-free relay outputs and enables the simultaneous connection of two sensors. Input voltages can range from 20 to 265 VAC or 20 to 375 VDC.
The power line converter offers a 24 V power supply for sensors, e.g. cegard/Mini. Input voltages ranging from 85 to 265 VAC can be converted. The sensor’s semiconductor output is also converted to a potential-free relay contact.
