Your area of responsibility
- Complete handling of export and import
- Contact person for customs and forwarding agents
- Shipping management, incl. the creation of delivery notes, invoices and shipping documents
- Monitoring of freight costs and OTD (On-Time Delivery)
- Negotiating with freight forwarders
- Contact person for the Sales and Production departments
- Master data maintenance / customs tariff numbers / origin calculation
Our requirements
- Basic commercial education
- Completed further education as export specialist or foreign trade specialist
- Several years of experience in export (import would be a plus) in an international company
- Experience in tariffing and origin calculation
- Assertiveness, persuasion and negotiation skills
- Autonomous and proactive way of working
- Service-oriented team player with customer focus
- Very good knowledge of spoken and written English, French or other foreign languages would be an advantage
