APS now features RS485

The revolutionary APS (Absolute Positioning System) product range now features a version with an RS485 communication interface. This new version can be ordered immediately. The APS RS485 meets SIL3 requirements to EN 61508 and can be used by an appropriate control unit to implement applicable safety functions according EN 81-20. It is certified by TUEV Rheinland

Communication from the sensor to the control unit is over a single RS485 communication channel. The APS RS485 can transmit data up to 1,500m.
