Sascha`s previous roles include managerial positions in the field of innovation, sustainability, and software development. Notably, he led the implementation of two flagship projects at TKE – “MAX”, the first predictive maintenance solution in the elevator industry, as well as the digitalization of their famous test tower in Rottweil, Germany. With his interdisciplinary experience and relentless curiosity, Sascha will make a great mentor for our talented R&D team. 

Steven Freedman steps down as CTO to take on a new role as Chief Revenue Officer (CRO), as well as the lead of our business in the Americas. He welcomes the choice of his successor: “2023 has been a year of transformation for R&D at CEDES and I am excited to see how the organization further develops under Sascha’s experienced guidance and leadership. It gives me a feeling of relief, being able to leave the team in such capable hands.”
