Visit us at the interlift 2025 in Nuremberg

07/16/2025
During the last few years, CEDES has been transforming from a hardware manufacturer to a provider of digital products and sensor-based data. Visit our booth A102 in Hall 3C to experience our new and improved elevator solutions.

Our highlights at the interlift 2025:

  • CEDES Elevate  our cloud-based IoT platform that enables smart elevator management, optimizing service through data-driven maintenance recommendations and people flow insights, now with exciting new features such as car speed monitoring and suspected shutdown detection.
  • cegard/Smart NT: our latest IoT-enabling light curtain can be paired with the InfoLight Kit, warning passengers with red LEDs when the door begins to close, as well as a special controller recognizing objects such as hospital beds or wheelchairs to prioritize rides.
  • Wireless sensors: they collect additional data, e,g. on machine room temperature or water in the pit, and feed it into our IoT platform to create alerts.
  • iDiscovery  the safety supervisor unit combined with our absolute positioning system APS and Cobianchi’s electrically activated safety gear simplifies the elevator hoistway in an unprecedented way, making numerous mechanical components redundant.

With CEDES Elevate, we offer a truly universal, non-proprietary IoT enablement and an elevator data hub open for our partners to join. As a result, we have enhanced our IoT solution with first-class emergency communications from 2N (Hall 3, Booth E201). We are currently working on integrating door operator data from Langer & Laumann (Hall 3, Booth E211) for even more precise door condition monitoring, and collaborating with Peters Research on an elevator dispatching solution. In our latest integration with the field service management software from FIELDBOSS (Hall 3, Booth E311), data insights automatically suggest actions in the field, allowing service companies to significantly streamline their operations.

Stop by at the CEDES booth to see these exciting new developments in action and learn how we are connecting the dots for the ultimate elevator service and traffic management solution together with our partners . Also, don’t miss Jan Giger’s presentation “Rethinking Door Sensors: A Clever Way to Know Where and When Action Is Needed” at the VFA Forum on Friday, October 17, at 12:30 pm. We look forward to meeting you in Nuremberg!
