Big in Japan

08/02/2017
Hiroyuki Takayanagi is the man at the helm of our newest subsidiary, CEDES Japan.

Hiroyuki Takayanagi is the new General Manager of CEDES Japan, having taken over from the retiring Mitsuyuki Izumi on August 1st, 2017.

After graduating from Hosei University in Engineering and Industrial Management, Hiroyuki started his career with Texas Instruments Japan as a product marketing engineer for ASIC and ASP products.  He was then promoted to different roles within Texas Instruments, always maintaining close customer contact.  His leading roles involved intensive and in-depth work on technically demanding communication component applications. He was responsible for key customers such as NEC, Fujitsu, Panasonic, Hitachi etc..

CEDES Group CEO, Christian-Erik Thöny, said. “It's my great pleasure to welcome Hiroyuki Takayanagi to our CEDES team. Thanks to his semiconductor skills in conjunction with concrete applications, he fits very well into our sensor world.  Japan is a highly-developed country, always increasing the level of automation in any way they can, and therefore very fertile ground for our high-tech sensor products. I'm therefore convinced that CEDES Japan will strongly contribute to the Group's growth in the future.”

“I would also like to take the opportunity to thank Mitsuyuki Izumi very much for his precious contribution over the last one-and-a-half years in helping to set up and establish CEDES Japan.  On behalf of the CEDES Management team I wish Mitsuyuki Izumi all the best and good health for the future.”
