R+T 2018 proves major success for CEDES

"Exhibiting at the R+T is proving more valuable every time we come here." That was the very positive assessment by Andreas Hunziker, CEDES Managing Director EMEA & RoW and Head of Booth for the recent R+T Trade Fair in Stuttgart, Germany.

The top attractions for the hundreds of visitors to the booth over the five days were the TOF/Start sensor with its cross-traffic feature and the new GridScan/Pro light curtain for industrial doors. The interest in the latest version of the highly successful GridScan range, due out later in 2018, is a great sign for its potential, Hunziker said. The energy-saving potential of the TOF/Start when it comes to opening automatic doors was also well-received. Its very reliable cross-traffic fade-out drastically reduces false-openings and means major energy savings and mechanical wear-and-tear.

There was also very encouraging interest in the touchless Pull-String Replacement application for high-speed doors using the TOF/Spot sensor. All sales personnel reported the simplicity of the CEDES solution impressed visitors to the booth.
